The Shins- Oh, Inverted World
I defintely have much love for the Shins. If you ask me, both their albums are pretty near perfect. A new album is coming out this year, which gives me a bit of a chubby in my undershorts. I can't wait.
But one complaint. "Chutes Too narrow" came out all the way back in 2003. 3 years for a new album from an indie band? That is waaaaaaay to long. Someone has to crack the whip on Mr. Mercer.
In the meantime, here is there debut album from 2001.
the rumor has it they had the new album in the can, then they heard the new destroyer, freaked out, and scrapped the whole thing!

I'm very curious as to where you heard that rumor!?! That's an interesting one.
