Bob Marley - DISCOGRAPHY!!!

When i was about 20, i went to visit my boy Pete in Boston.
He'd met some rastafarian dude at the guitar center where he worked. The dude heard in playing drums and seems pretty intent on having Pete go to his place to jam with him. This get together happened during my visit.

We walk into the guys house and it has a full studio in it. Recording room, all the instruments, seperate room with sound/mixing board, seperate vocal room, the works.
Before the jamming starts, he and his friend tell us that they have a friend from Jamaica who's coming to stay with them for 2 months. And they also reveal that he hit the skins for Bob Marley for a couple of years. They looooooved this fact. In fact, they loved it so much that they repeated this story every 10 minutes for about 3 hours. Every few minutes on the dot..."He drum for Bob Marleeeey. He stay here for 2 months!" And every time they said it, they would say it with the same enthusiasm as the first time they said it, as if it was the first time they'd told us. It was kinda funny. And to add to the humor, every line they said ended with them yelling stuff along the lines of "Rastafarie!" and "Biddee-Yah-Bah-Bah-HEY!" or even "Peace be love to Jah at all time."

Another moment that stands out of this night is when they broke out the herbs.
One of them sits down and starts rolling a spliff. It was e-nor-mous. It probably had 1.5 grams of really dank buds in it. He finishes rolling and hands it to me. I light it up, take a couple hits, and proceed to pass it. He looks at me, shakes his finger at me, and says, "No, No man. That one is just for you. SHABAH!" (okay, i made up the shabah part for dramatic effect)
He then rolls a spliff of equal size for all 4 or 5 people in the room.
Needless to say, i was floored for several hours. Good times.

Why am i even bringing this crap up? Because i just found an open directory with Bob Marley's complete discography in it. Go download some stuff and smoke a spliff or something.
