I'd like to thank everybody for stopping by. I'm averaging about 500 hits a day. That's kinda cool.

But please don't ask me to "fix a link".
Every single full album i post is taken from an open directory i find on my daily searches. Therefore, they are not my links in any way. When i post an album located in an open directory, the life of it is always sporadic and limited.  Sometimes, the link will last several weeks. Other times (like yesterday), the links will die in as little as 24 hours. When they die, they die. I have no control.

When i give a link to someone else's opendir, the process is always similar. I, and probably a couple more blogs, post the link. Then the website's visitors gangbang the shit out of it. At some point, the owner of the actual dir will notice that their bandwidth is being eaten alive. At that point, they take the link down or it gets taken down by the host of the files.

I do this for a very specific reason. I definitely feel that at some point the RIAA is going to crack down on Rapidshare. It probably won't happen soon, but it'll happen at some point. Those guys are a bunch of squares.
At the point when they do that, I want to be squeaky clean. I use rapidshare to download a ton, but i very rarely post my own stuff on it.

i wonder if Rapidshare will share the IP addresses of posters with the RIAA? i upload without a premium/subscription account so as to not have an email or account attached to the uploads.
